Traction Motor Enhancement, Overhaul & Repair
Associated Rewinds (Ireland) Limited uses a wide range of modern machines in the overhaul and repair activities on all 3 sites.
Rewinding & Coil Manufacturing
Associated Rewinds (Ireland) Limited makes all its own stator and armature coils on purpose –built machinery. Coils are formed from copper sections and all insulations are made in-house from advanced modern materials like Kapton, Nomex and Arlon.
Mechanical Services
Associated Rewinds (Ireland) Limited has a fully equipped cnc machine shop supported by a comprehensive range of more traditional machine tools that enable it to produce virtually any components used in traction motor overhaul, enhancement and repair.
Quality Assurance
Associated Rewinds (Ireland) Limited uses a range of equipment from sophisticated CMM machines to hardness testers, all calibrated regularly, to ensure the quality and integrity of components made in-house, and bought in, and of finished motors.
CNC Production Equipment
Associated Rewinds (Ireland) Limited has always prided itself on having the latest in CNC technology for the manufacture of high precision parts for the rail industry. We are now using the latest in control systems in both machinery and testing equipment.
